A cute wooden waterfall book decorated in pink and orange Blonde Moments papers. Lots of ribbons and girly things to satisfy your inner diva.

And here are the sneak peaks for you to drool over.

Also we have come up with some pre event challenges for you to get you in the mood.
Challenge 1
Scottish themed name badge

Challenge 2
A mini book be it BIA, book rings etc, its up to you. I am thinking no more than 6 x 6 max. And i would like you to use a technique or product that you would never usually use ie Alcohol inks, stamping, embossing etc.

This one will be an open theme.

Challenge 3
Friendship/family

This can be either a LO or a card. Interpret this how you like, be it a family occasion, a special friend, its up to you.

Challenge 4
Alter that

This is your chance to alter an item that had a previous life before it got crafted. Take a before and after shot so we can see what it was before. How about trying a new technique for the decorating, its up to you

Challenge 5
ATC challenge
Now if you are like me, you love the look of ATC's but have never really tried them. Well now is your chance. I would like you to make a series of 4 ATC's. I would like the ATC's to include stamping and to be similar to paper artsey in style. The theme is open for you to interprep, so get out those stamps.

I know there are a lot there but there is bound to be something that will peak your interest, lol. Remember this is not compulsary, its just for fun.

see you soon

Its that time of year again.

Last year Aberdeen Craft Group which is now based at Crafters Haven held a large crafting event here in the NE of Scotland.

We had the gorgous Dyan Reavely, Mark and Emy from art from the heart and designers of the funky Blonde moments paper range travel up from Harrogate with their van jam packed with goodies to entertain us for two stunning days.

Dyan is such a wonderful teacher, who puts you at your ease, and gently takes you step by step throughtout the whole creating process.

The format of the event will be the same as last year. It consists of 6 technique classes spread over the two days. You will be provided with all the material and just need to bring your own tools and adhesives.

The package will include tea and coffee throughout the day and cakes and home bakes plus lunch on both days. Dyan will bring with her a great collection of products from her shop including mini books, patterned paper, stamps, altered items. Take a look at the Blonde moments site for their collections and ideas and also the new web site, Art from the heart which is the webshop and Dyan's funky blog.

The whole weekend is a very enjoyable experience. Even if you dont fancy the blonde moments range, its the tips and techniques that you will learn that you will take away with you and use over and over again. I will be back soon with some photo's from our attendees last year and hopefully an idea of the projects we will be doing soon.
